Museum works remain free
138,000 works from the Met, the Art Institute of Chicago and Smithsonian Open Access, with the title, the artist and the institution on the placard. These cost us nothing to serve, so they cost you nothing.
New prints join the catalogue
When a sponsored batch is drawn, every print joins the catalogue permanently, for the person who paid and for everyone whose collection includes it.
Nobody can buy a subject
A person can ask for moths, orchids, or deep-sea fish. They cannot own that subject, reserve it, or keep it away from another frame.
The placard tells the truth
Museum works carry the artist, date, and holding institution. Rendered work says MusePaper and the date it was made. Local paintings say local.
